How you remove an account depends on who you are. Anyone can ask us to delete their account. Workspace admins can remove a teammate’s access right away. Workspace owners can close the whole workspace.

Delete your own account

Email privacy@blujay.io from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. Include the name of your workspace. Your workspace owns its conversations and contacts, so we may check with your workspace owner before deleting anything.

Remove a teammate’s access

If you’re a workspace owner or admin, you can turn off a teammate’s access yourself. It takes effect right away.
1

Open Team Members

In the web app, click Settings in the left sidebar, then the Team Members tab.
2

Open their actions menu

Find the teammate and click … at the end of their row.
3

Disable them

Click Disable. Their status changes to Disabled.
A disabled teammate can’t sign in to the web app or the iPhone app, and they’re signed out shortly anywhere they’re already signed in. Their conversations and history stay in the workspace. To give them access again, open the same menu and click Enable. To have a disabled teammate’s account deleted, email privacy@blujay.io.

Close your workspace

If you’re the workspace owner and want to close your whole workspace, email support@blujay.io from the email address you sign in with.

Common problems

Only workspace owners and admins can manage teammates. Ask your workspace owner or an admin.
The workspace owner can’t be disabled or changed from Team Members. To close the workspace, the owner emails support@blujay.io.
In Settings → Team Members, open the … menu on their row and click Cancel invite, then Cancel invite again to confirm. The invite link stops working right away, and you can invite that email again later.

Still stuck?
